Apart from academic work the school engages in extra curricular activities. These include Guidance and Counselling, Cadet Corps, Medical Services and clubs such as Scripture Union (S.U.), Ghana Methodist Students Union (GHAMSU), National Union of Presbyterian Students, Ghana CNUPSG), Catholic Students Association (C.S.A.), Science Club, French Club, Debating Society, Pioneer Club and Boys Club.

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING

The school has a Guidance and Counselling Go-ordinator. The coordinator meets students regularly each term. Before a term ends, he meets each form at different times and advises them on the following:

• Academic work
• Social life
• Career guidance

CADET CORPS

The corps helps to instil discipline into the boys. They undergo military training and represent the school at ceremonial functions such as Independence Day, Speech and Prize Giving Day, Prizes and Awards Day, Athletics competition, etc.

MEDICAL SERVICES

There is a dispensary in the school which is normally opened from 6.30 am to 2 p.m. and is manned: by a qualified nurse. After school the resident tutor in charge bf the dispensary takes over. Students report at the dispensary for treatment. Where there are emergencies serious cases, students are referred to the hospital.
