Hallo ye members of “No More Music Procession” Group

Its 25 years since we departed from good old Tesco ! To commemorate this great anniversary, members of the 79-year group in Accra sought to do something for the school to be presented during the coming speech and prize giving day in July.

In consultation with the Headmaster, the construction of a new gigantic gatehouse with a canopy, large crest and toilet facilities for Sheehu’s descendants designed by Mr. Eugene Ofori-Atta (Architectural Springs Takoradi) has been chosen as the project worth looking at !

The initial calculations (Bill of Quantities and architectural drawings available) put the total cost at 150 Mio Cedis i.e. app. US $16,700.

It might interest you to know, that OUR GOOD OLD STOOBIE – Prince Aacht – now a big time business man based in Takoradi wants the contract to build the structure – which means, we could cut off his margins and bring the total cost down!

Now we are calling on all of you to make substantial donations towards this project.

Time is not on our side ! The mid of June 2004 is our deadline !. If only about 40 of us are reached then individual contributions of about $400 and above is what we need to achieve this aim .

Donations could be collected on regional or country basis, for those of us outside Ghana at the moment, or be sent to the school direct reference 79 year group project .

Pledges that can be honored within two months are welcome !
