About Medical and Scientific:
Welcome to the medical and scientific team of the Teams contact
network. The" medical and scientific" team is a group
of Tescans with special interest in medicine and related scientific
courses.
Medicine is a very dynamic subject beginning from the historical
age when the Aristotles, Socrates’, Hippocrates’ and
the Apollos tried to use various plants and concoctions to cure
several diseases and ailments affecting the human race. Modern
medicine as it stands today has undergone several changes and
modifications. With human beings growing in intelligence and discovering
several compounds with curative properties and effects, man can
now live in a world where diseases though easily acquired, can
be treated fully or managed accordingly.
In the wake of all this improvements and successes, a cure has
not been found for all the several ailments that affect humanity.
Nevertheless, several unperturbed scientists and individuals are
still struggling and searching for other procedures, substances
and practices that will eventually serve as solutions and cures
for all those currently untreatable or fatal conditions.
The ultimate aim of our numerous medical brains (comprising
doctors, pharmacists, scientists etc, etc) is to find a cure for
every known disease state of man so that man can live in a disease-free
world. This huge task, which seems unachievable, has not deterred
several scientists in their quest for success over all diseases.
Research has found out that having knowledge about a disease state
will help man to prevent acquiring such diseases or live healthily
and manageably with such diseases should he acquire them. In a
summary, this team seeks to serve as a source of information and
a forum where fellow Tescans can find out the basics of several
disease conditions and most importantly, preventive measures that
need to be followed to stay clear from the acquisition of these
infections. Aside this, we also plan to make known our numerous
colleagues who have made it in their fields of study as far as
medicine and its related sciences are concerned.
Medical and Scientific's Vision:
- That Tescans will become aware of several disease conditions
affecting man.
- That Tescans will use this knowledge so acquired, to live
healthy lives aimed at the prevention of diseases.
- To encourage more Tescans especially those who are still in
school, to enter into the field of Medicine.
